Job Title: Solar Site Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Site Manager for a 25 MW project in Isle of Wight, VA. This position is expected to last approximately 4 months, with the potential for redeployment to subsequent projects. The successful candidate will be working on behalf of the owner, developer, or EPC, managing mechanical, electrical, and civil firms. Experience with utility-scale solar projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage mechanical, electrical, and civil firms to ensure project success.
Keep track of the project schedule, budget, and performance.
Work on behalf of the owner, developer, or EPC to oversee project execution.
Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
Essential Skills
Experience in utility-scale solar projects.
Prior experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager.
Ability to manage and coordinate with multiple firms and stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working for an owner, developer, or EPC.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Work Environment
The candidate will be working on a 25 MW job site in Isle of Wight County, VA, primarily in a trailer setting. The workweek typically consists of 50 hours. All hotel expenses are covered upfront via an app, and meals are expensed directly to the account. Each site manager receives a truck with coordinated pick-up and drop-off, as well as a gas card (if considered a "travel" employee based on location)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
