We are seeking a driven individual who is focused on making an impact. Come grow with us! SUMMARY: The Business Analyst role involves interpreting and analyzing data to help make informed decisions. The business analyst collects, cleans, and organizes data; explores and analyzes data to identify patterns, trends, and insights; communicates findings through reports, visualizations, or presentations to help guide business decisions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: * Data Collection & Cleaning * Gathering data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. * Cleaning and organizing data, ensuring that it is accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis. This could involve handling missing values, duplicates, or irrelevant data. * Data Exploration & Analysis * Exploring data to understand patterns, trends, and anomalies. This often involves creating visualization ns (e.g., graphs, charts) to better understand the data. * Analyzing the data to uncover insights, such as customer behavior, market trends, or operational efficiencies. * Applying statistical methods to interpret the data, using tools like Excel, SQL, or programming languages like Python * Reporting & Communication * Communicating the findings in clear, understandable ways to stakeholders (e.g., managers, teams, or clients) through written reports, dashboards, or presentations. * Translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations. * Building & Maintaining Dashboards/Reports * Creating and maintaining dashboards that continuously track key metrics or key performance indicators (KPIs). Tools for this might include Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio. * Automating reports to ensure timely delivery of insights. * Predictive Modeling & Advanced Analysis * Building models to predict future trends (e.g., sales forecasts, customer churn, etc.) using statistical or machine learning techniques. * Performing A/B testing and experimentation to optimize business strategies. * Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics * Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed Starting at $85K REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Education: * A bachelor's degree is required in data analytics, business administration, management information systems, finance, economics, or equivalent experience in a related field. Technical Skills:  Data Visualization: Tools like Tableau, Power BI  Programming: Python, R, or SQL (commonly used for data manipulation, analysis, and automation)  Excel: For quick analysis and reporting. * Must have thorough and deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies: * Minimum one to three (1-3) years of experience as a business analyst * Statistical Analysis: Knowledge of statistics to interpret data correctly and make sound inferences * Knowledge of the food service industry a plus. * Successful applicants will demonstrate the following competencies: * Communication: Excellent interpersonal abilities, good listening skills, writing and verbal skills, ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality of sensitive private data.
