As a Sales Analyst at DSV, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing insights to optimize sales strategies and performance. Your responsibilities will involve gathering, interpreting, and presenting sales-related information to facilitate data-driven decision-making and drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, including revenue, volume, market share, and customer acquisition/retention rates.
- Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and trends.
- Assist in sales forecasting activities by analyzing historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and projections.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and potential growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to support sales strategy development.
- Segment customers based on demographic, geographic, and behavioral factors to optimize sales targeting and resource allocation.
- Assist in developing targeted marketing and sales campaigns to reach specific customer segments.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in the sales process and recommend solutions for streamlining and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Provide support to the sales team by preparing sales presentations, proposals, and materials.
- Assist in developing sales strategies, pricing models, and sales incentive programs.
- Collaborate with sales managers, account executives, and other stakeholders to understand sales goals and objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field. Additional certifications in data analysis or sales management are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales analysis, market research, or business analytics, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sales forecasting and market segmentation techniques.
- Familiarity with transportation and logistics industry trends and dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software for statistical analysis, data visualization, and reporting.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,500- $84,500/ Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
