Job Description

A large healthcare company is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to join their team in Irving, TX! This individual will provide mid to upper tier support for network projects and hardware lifecycle management, including data center projects. They will serve as the data center subject matter expert (SME), ensuring efficient and reliable application and system services delivery across the enterprise. Responsibilities include participating in architecture reviews, developing new standards for network stability and scalability, and maintaining and administering core network, wireless, and remote office infrastructures. Daily tasks also involve troubleshooting network issues, performing system monitoring and backups, and supporting network hardware. Occasional travel to data centers or support centers may be required. This is a permanent role with a salary range of $117,000 - $153,000.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in network administration/engineering

  Deep understanding of data center technology, WAN technologies, and internet routing

   Proficiency in Aruba technology (Clear Pass, Aruba Fabric Manager, CX10Ks).

   Advanced experience with SDWAN technologies

   POTS, DS1/T1, Fiber, GigE and 10GigE, VoIP, SIP

   Routers, layer 2 and layer 3 switches

   Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, iBGP, and MPLS

  High-level Aruba certifications Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls null
