DESCRIPTION

Our medical practice is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a desire to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) system

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other medical staff

  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
