Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Utilize software development tools and systems to design and develop solutions for real-time integration with various products as part of the Data and Analytics platform. Develop technical solutions for applications, and build applications based on customized frameworks. Support the deployment and maintenance of applications and products, and work to automate processes. Utilize knowledge of system flow to develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementing applications. Collaborate with global clients to explore use cases through agile data science and innovation tactics, and leverage data assets to enhance user experience, product, and overall digital capabilities. Define the roadmap to enable the transformation of the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Business towards a digital-first bank built on a modern data and analytics foundation that connects, integrates, and powers future products and customer experiences. Support product delivery schedules, specification reviews, planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across various regions. Liaise with multiple technology vendors to accommodate complex solutions. Collaborate with teams across global regions to develop the technology platform teams globally. Provide assistance to management on the selection of tech-stack to enhance current environments. Work with technology vendors to negotiate and procure licenses and licenses renewals. Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve several high impact projects by conducting in-depth evaluations of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Apply knowledge of applications programming to ensure application designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related technical field and 7 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an IT Analyst, Applications Development Manager/Analyst, or related position involving developing and implementing software applications and systems. 7 years of experience must include: Designing and developing streaming applications to meet business requirements; Utilizing Confluent Kafka, Cloudera Hadoop, Java, Oracle DB, and Java Applications; Utilizing Linux, Shell Scripting, REST API, SoapUI, and Splunk; and Developing technical solutions for applications based on customized frameworks. At least 2 years of experience must include: Automating manual processes to conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions; Utilizing Spark, Redis, Spring, Oracle Golden Gate, Bit Bucket, Jenkins build tool, GIT Enterprise, Swagger portal, Sonar reports, Spring config server, and Spring Cloud; and Utilizing Spring tool suit, Drools rule engine, CyberArk Vault, Ansible, WIKI, Confluence, MongoDB, AppDynamics, and Release Lifecycle Management.
