Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG and light gauge TIG welding (.062 thin). The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting build drawings and capable of handling various aspects of metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, mill work, finishing, and assembly. This role involves analyzing assembly drawings, measuring materials, and cutting them to precise sizes and shapes. The finished products must meet exact specifications and be free of inconsistencies. Any questions regarding assembly should be directed to the CAD draftsperson or Fabrication Foreman.

Shift: 10:30am-7pm OT as needed including weekends

Pay: $24-$28 DOE

Essential Functions:

• Weld steel and aluminum materials using MIG and TIG processes.
• Operate fabrication shop and machine shop machinery and equipment.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces.
• Assemble workpieces according to job specifications.
• Operate any equipment necessary to perform job duties.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the department lead or supervisor.
