Description:

• Develop manufacturing processes both internally and externally

• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing process

• Participate as needed in cross functional product design teams and generate novel implant designs for use in the transcatheter mitral space.

• Generate work instructions, test methods, engineering models and drawings/prototypes to establish/characterize product and/or process specifications.

• Device and run experiments, analyze results, provide recommendations, and produce reports

Iso 13485, R&d, nitinol, Class III, New product development, Design, Mechanical, solidworks, six sigma blackbelt

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering

• Minimum 4 years medical device

• Wire and braided wire experience a plus

• Experience designing novel implantable devices

• Plus to have a six sigma blackbelt tools such as DOE and GR&R

• Experience in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, ProE)
