Job Description

A local investment management firm is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. This Developer will assist with the day to day tasks of migrating their application into the cloud (AWS). This person will be reporting directly to the Team Lead. This role is working within a strict Agile Scrum environment and requires a very pro-active individual with strong communication. This role will be reporting onsite to their Irvine, CA location 3 days per week. This is a 9-12 month contract with high likelihood of extension based on performance and team need.

Skills and Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience as a Java Developer

   - Hands on experience with Springboot and Maven

   - Hands on experience with migration to AWS

   - Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

   - Strong database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL

   - Ability to work independently with a pro-active mentality for execution Investment/Financial industry experience null
