Overview:
We are seeking two highly skilled Security Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidates have a strong understanding of security protocols, technologies, and best practices to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
·Security Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption solutions.
Threat and Vulnerability Analysis: Conduct regular assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.
Incident Response: Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resolution.
Security Auditing and Compliance: Perform security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and regulatory requirements.
Network Security Monitoring: Monitor security events and anomalies in real-time using SIEM tools and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
Penetration Testing: Conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking to evaluate the security posture of the organization. Recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
Security Awareness Training: Collaborate with teams to develop and deliver security awareness training to employees, ensuring best practices are followed to mitigate insider threats.
Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines, including automating security testing and vulnerability scanning
Security Documentation: Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports on security incidents and risk mitigation measures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and security frameworks.
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are a plus.
