Vista Outdoor Key Account Specialist, Mass - Adventure Sports in Irvine, California

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Specialist to join our Adventure Sports platform which consists of Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Giro Sport Design, CamelBak, QuietKat Electric Bikes, Blackburn and more. This position will support our Key Account Manager(s) and assist with sales activities and maintaining relationships with our mass retail partners. Your primary responsibility will be to streamline operations, manage communications, and ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales, Mass Channel and is based out of our Bentonville, AR office or our Adventure Sports headquarters in Irvine, CA..

As the Key Account Specialist for the Mass Channel, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for top mass retail accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with the Account Manager(s) to develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with retailers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and product information materials for client meetings.

  • Assist in the development of strategic sales forecasts and performance reports to track progress against targets.

  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as product development, marketing, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

  • Manage samples and shipments across customers for line reviews.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pricing, orders, supply gaps, item maintenance and customer interactions.

  • Coordinate logistics for sales meetings, trade shows, and other events as needed.

  • Manage shared calendars for UP Pricing, customer meetings, internal meetings, etc.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments relevant to mass retail.

  • Conduct research to identify potential new leads and opportunities for business expansion.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Account Manager based on market analysis.

You have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales coordination or customer service, preferably with mass retailers.

  • Conflict resolution skills and ability to solve problems independently.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Knowledge of outdoor industry and mass retail is a plus.

Pay Range:

$47,800.00 - $83,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
