This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional marketing and strategy professional with prior medical device experience to join a growing team that is boldly designing transcatheter mitral and tricuspid therapies from the ground up. Edwards Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is dedicated to solving the complex challenges of mitral and tricuspid disease in order to transform treatment and significantly improve patients’ lives. Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that are focused on educating patients, caregivers and HCPs on Mitral and Tricuspid Regurgitation with the goal of activating patients on their journey to appropriate diagnosis and treatment.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop, plan, and lead the execution of comprehensive global marketing plans including strategies and tactics for Patient Activation with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables including measuring and reporting on the relative success of each Patient Activation initiative.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of global strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders – including regions, cross-business unit partners, and cross-functional partners.

  • Lead the development of marketing messages based on patient pathway understanding and insights, knowledge of current literature, current competitive environment, and regulatory/legal requirements for Patient Activation initiatives, existing and new market research (e.g., patient personas, message testing)

  • Develop campaign materials and programs that support Patient Activation goals, programs and initiatives.

  • Analyze campaign performance data to assess regional impact of Patient Activation campaign and make adjustments to optimize performance of all assets and media channels

  • Effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive media plan (e.g., digital display, search, social, television and other channels)

What you will need (required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience (8 years with Master's Degree) of previous related experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry

  • Experience proactively building and executing strategic global marketing plans including strategies and tactics for multiple major product launches or programs and initiatives

  • Demonstrated expertise selecting and managing external creative agencies

  • Demonstrated expertise driving marketing collateral through all relevant legal and regulatory approval processes by collaborating with relevant cross-functional stakeholders

What else we look for (preferred):

  • Demonstrated expertise effectively collaborating across business unit and regional boundaries

  • Proven track record in patient activation programs including referral marketing and/or direct-to-patient marketing

  • Preferred experience planning and executing Direct-to-Consumer, Direct-to-Patient omnichannel campaign(s) including audience targeting, campaign execution, and effectiveness measurement

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Recognized as an expert in own sub-function(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization

  • Expert understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to represent leadership on projects within multiple areas, interfacing with project managers, team and middle management

  • Ability to consult in a project setting within multiple areas, interfacing with low to middle management

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $138,000 to $196,000 (highly experienced).
