Director of Client Services for Consumer Benefit Solutions

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon's Consumer Benefit Solutions Group in Irvine, CA. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP). This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Irvine office.

What the day will look like

The Director of Client Services will manage Operations team members, providing guidance and serving as a point of escalation. The Director of Client Services will make recommendations regarding process improvement, achieving operational goals and capacity management. The Director of Client Services’ time will vary from day to day based on current client, broker, and carrier needs.

  • Responsible for leading a quality client service team that is efficient, effective, responsive, and dedicated to delivering operational excellence within Aon Risk Solutions.

  • Responsible for establishing operational goals, expectations, and performance standards for the designated Service Center, and for ensuring consistency in utilization of standard documentation and defined standard operating procedures.

  • Interacts with lead consultant/broker as needed

  • Manages high profile cases/projects

  • Assigns personnel to individual cases

  • Advises SVP, Operations of individual case status on a regular basis

  • The Director may serve as an escalation contact for clients within the designated Service. They may be responsible for ensuring client confidence and client satisfaction is delivered. Attends and/or conducts status calls and implementation calls as necessary.

  • Makes recommendations on operational issues, voluntary product program enhancements

  • Responsible for ensuring revenue and expenses meet or exceed forecasted targets

  • Seeks feedback from clients to assess satisfaction level

  • Consolidates and interprets post enrollment reviews with client, lead consultant and other applicable Makes recommendations for improvement

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 10 years of experience in project management or benefit enrollment areas

  • Experience in a supervisory capacity

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Ability to understand and measure financial metrics

  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills and problem-solving abilities

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent years of industry experience.

    Pay Transparency

    The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

    This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
