Amazon Games is looking for a talented and driven Build Manager to join the Orange County team. Key job responsibilities

In this role you:

  • Take ownership of the inputs and outputs into build, release and automation pipelines.

  • Work closely with leadership and technical leads to determine when, where and how to deploy updates.

  • Seek to thoroughly understand our version control and build generation pipeline as a primary customer and end-user.

  • Manage milestone builds being deployed internally, managing and clearly communicating the contents of these builds to stakeholders

  • Track development changes and version history as changes move through release streams to ensure releases contain expected results and are free from unexpected churn.

  • Assist in the change integration between development streams whenever necessary and expedient.

  • Collaborate with our Quality Assurance, Release Management and Production teams to shepherd new builds through the release process and to our players.

  • Constantly be looking for process and organizational improvements that increase efficiency and raise quality.

  • Investigate, integrate, and develop technologies bringing innovation and improving reliability, performance and productivity;

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience using Python, Golang, C# or C+- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience releasing product updates by partnering with cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and/or Jenkins

  • Gaming Industry Experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
