Job Description

Associate Director, Total Rewards Aesthetics Lead: Responsible for partnering with the global AbbVie Total Rewards team and the Aesthetics business to ensure continued competitive Total Rewards programs that enable us to attract, grow and reward Abbvie employees across the organization. This role will execute total rewards frameworks, analyze, and present data, and make recommendations to the business, partner closely with Business Human Resources (BHRs) and Talent Acquisition (TA) to support our Aesthetics business globally and the Function goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as internal compensation consultant to administer and deliver cash and total rewards programs, including regularly modeling a variety of rewards scenarios to develop and present recommendations.

  • Ensure the delivery of our rewards programs are market-competitive, aligned with our business strategy, compliant and equitable.

  • Understand and educate BHR, TA and business leaders on compensation approaches and recommendations to attract, engage and retain talent from a variety of backgrounds and industries.

  • Manage compensation benchmark survey submissions, review and apply pertinent benchmarking studies and reports.

  • Prepare and speak to reports, data and insights on demographic data and trends, including turnover, hiring and impact of our rewards programs on employee engagement.

  • Lead, coach and mentor global team who provide support to the Aesthetics business outside the US.

  • Act as subject-matter-expert and thought leader in relation to all people-related programs

  • Partner with Sales Planning & Analytics on sales Incentive Compensation with reference to benchmarking and monitoring market trends and provide guidance on defining competitive targets.

  • Effectively partner cross functionally with Talent, HR Business Partners, and managers across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain job architecture for Aesthetics and compensation ranges.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in Compensation including Job Family Design, Market Pricing required. Experience in biotech, technology or aesthetics preferred.

  • 4+ years managing Total Rewards programs – either as a specialist/lead in Compensation.

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Finance or Human Resources related field preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Expert proficiency with Excel

  • Experience in growth industry environment and fast paced companies

  • Proven history of working with HCM systems, and working cross functionally

  • Proven track record of supervising, prioritizing and driving to success multiple projects with a strong operational background

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong analytical skills and detail orientation

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with executives and team members across multiple functions

  • Proven ability to influence and drive change with leadership teams and across agile organizations, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth

  • This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days in office per week

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​
