Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, International Marketing will be responsible for creating and implementing winning differentiation strategies to drive profitable brand growth in key international markets in close collaboration with Global brand functions (Global Marketing, Global Education & Event, Global SD/VM, GBSC), ELC Regional teams and select Retailers.

The Assistant Manager, International Marketing will support any business decision with analyses and market data and will ensure all marketing plans are successfully executed in market and respecting our brand equity.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Collaboratively work with the regions in prioritizing marketing programs and investments

· Build regional 360 marketing plans and tactics to win in market and drive awareness.

o Brief consumer engagement plans to Global brand including local media campaigns, trends, KSM and influencer/PR events; Optimize media spend to increase EMV & traffic.

o Lead trade marketing differentiation initiatives across channels and categories during new product launches and commercial innovation activations; Ensure successful execution in market.

o Develop and manage regional assortment strategy: innovation maximization, hero acceleration, sub-category opportunities, sampling priorities, travel size & value set needs, SKU rationalization.

Analytics: Supported by analyses, make strategic recommendations to seize market opportunities & inform Regional strategies

· Collect and analyze sales trends, category shifts, market intelligence to influence Global brand programming and have a strong point of view on market plans.

· Set regional KPI for each NPL, review product launch performance and identify opportunities.

Direct International Retailers / Distributors:

· Drive retailer relationships to create impactful business strategies and gain alignment on key strategic initiatives.

· Build impactful marketing action plans leveraging the strength of key platforms & programs to achieve sales targets.

· Pilot P&L and Track Investments with International Marketing Director.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management

· Minimum 5 years of retail marketing or account management experience, preferably in cosmetics industry and in relation with international markets

· Show strong cross-functional collaboration skills

· Ability to thing strategically while being excellent with execution

· Proficient at sales analysis, business planning and execution

· Must possess strong analytical skills

· Ability to make decision in complex situation

· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure effectively & efficiently

· Organized and detail oriented in both managing tasks and budget tracking

· Must be able to travel approximately 15% internationally.

· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

· Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

· Self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented

· Energetic and passionate with an entrepreneurial, flexible spirit

· Team player with a positive, professional, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150-$109,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
