YOUR ROLE

  • Supporting (new) product development laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, 5S, etc.

  • Provides support for various projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisor.

  • Employs basic problem solving skill-sets to overcome project bottlenecks and maintain project deliverable dates.

  • Collects and organizes data in a coherent format. Communicates basic observations regarding data and/or experimental outcome.

  • Ability to perform routine tests and operate application equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Begins becoming familiar with products associated with assigned technology team/market/region.

  • Basic report writing on performed work and typically submitted to supervisor for review and/or approval.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or other related fields is preferred.

  • Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with other team members in product development programs.

  • Candidate must be able to work as a team member and also independently on multi-task assignments.

  • Knowledgeable in Power Point, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and Statistical Analysis Software is preferred.

  • Traveling of up to 10-20% may be requirred.

The salary for this role is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
