Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Chargebacks Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Accounts Receivable Manager and Chargebacks Analyst. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and efficiency in managing inventory data and customer payment documentation.
Responsibilities
Assist the Inventory Team by manually entering inventory data into NetSuite with great accuracy and efficiency.
Access customer portals to retrieve, navigate, research, and save supporting documentation for deductions on customer payments.
Research, request, and follow-up on bill of ladings, arrival notices for POE shipments, and proof of deliveries for shortage deductions.
File and submit customer disputes as assigned.
Support and respond to chargeback inquiries and requests from Account Managers as assigned.
Update and maintain the customer dispute master log.
Essential Skills
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with inventory and receivables.
Ability to enter data quickly and with high accuracy.
Experience in reviewing shipping documents and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with internal team members, external customers, and 3PLs.
Ability to multi-task and communicate progress with each team.
Proficiency in Excel, including analyzing, summarizing, and assessing large volumes of data; v-lookups and pivot tables preferred.
Experience with NetSuite preferred.
Minimum of an associate degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in data entry and administrative duties.
Ability to handle up to 30,000 line items on an Excel sheet for one invoice.
Strong note-taking and adherence to procedures.
