The Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson seeks a full-time Home Medical Equipment Supervisor *to join their team in *Iron Mountain, Michigan.
Our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Department ensures patients receive the high-quality equipment and support they need. As the Home Medical Equipment Supervisor, you will lead our team and make a real difference in our patients' lives.

- $22.89 -- $35.13 per hour starting pay based on experience.

- Full-time position with shifts 8am-4pm, 8am--8pm, 4pm -- 8am, or as assigned, and requires participation in the on-call rotating schedule.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Lead and support DME staff; enhance professional growth and development of self and staff.
- Assist with equipment delivery and setup.
- Schedule meetings, create work schedules, and orient new staff.
- Manage daily administration and technical operations.
- Ensure compassionate, timely patient care.
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff to ensure a skilled and competent team.
- Understand DME billing and insurance regulations; educate staff.
- Prepare and manage annual operating and staff budgets.
- Review financial and productivity data; adjust as needed.
- Order and maintain inventory; build relationships with PT, physicians, and referral sources.
- Ensure department meets accreditation standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Associate degree in Business or a directly related field, or have a high school diploma with training and experience with Durable Medical Equipment.
- 3 or more years' experience with home medical equipment and supplies preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting and business management preferred.
- A collaborative leadership style that focuses on mentoring and fostering a positive work environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor that ensures trust, competence and compassion amongst patients, families, caregivers, and team members.
- Flexibility to help during medical or emergency situations, or if additional help is needed.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check.
