An Exciting Opportunity Awaits!

The Role

As an UK Account Executive, you will manage and service our clients for Marine Cargo. You will be responsible for a portfolio of varied clients requiring ‘hands-on’, strong relationship building to assist them with all aspects of their insurance programmes. You’ll be guiding existing clients through mid-term adjustments and renewals, including presentations to the appropriate market, whilst also identifying new business opportunities. We are especially interested to hear from candidates with Marine Hull insurance market experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and servicing a portfolio of Marine Cargo accounts

  • Ability to manage various relationships, including client, internal and external, and Insurers

  • Ability to understand client’s coverage requirements and key issues

  • Assisting in program design/placement strategy where required

  • Contacting clients for renewal information

  • Preparation of underwriting submissions, quotation slips, endorsements and any other documentation, and broking risks to the market

  • Daily servicing of clients enquires including providing advice on scope of coverage, information gathering and creation of market documentation at varying levels of involvement

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with WTW guidelines and procedures

  • Understand and use WTW systems

  • Ensure and maintain good relationships with other WTW associates in various departments

  • Overall provide the highest level of customer service to existing and prospective clients

The Requirement

  • Experience of Marine Cargo insurance and/or WTW systems preferential

  • A proven track record in Insurance or Client Service

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent technical and presentation skills

  • Ability to assimilate and apply large volumes of information

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team

  • Able to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressure

  • Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwriters

  • Must be prepared to work with integrity and openness, complying at all times with FCA and WTW requirements.

  • Good IT skills with excellent Word and Excel usage capability
