Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing our data architecture to ensure it aligns with our business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, modelling, and governance.

The Role:

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.

• Analyse structural requirements for new software and applications.

• Optimize new and current database systems.

• Define security and backup procedures.

• Coordinate with the Data Science department to identify future needs and requirements.

• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.

• Collaborate with IT teams and management to devise data-related strategies and solutions.

The Requirements:

• Insurance Industry Knowledge

• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, or similar role.

• In-depth understanding of database structure principles.

• Experience with data modelling and database design.

• Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.

• Familiarity with Azure database management software (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure cloud data solutions.

• Certification in data management or data architecture.

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
