Job description for portable restroom service route driver:

• Provide outstanding customer service when on customer worksites to ensure they are receiving services completed to their standards.
• Operate a company service truck and drive to various locations to service, pump and refresh portable restrooms or deliver units to our clients in accordance with BMS requirements.
  • Pumping of portable restrooms includes use ofwand assembly for waste removal and fresh water delivery. Waste stays contained through pumper truck's delivery system to holding tank.
• Perform all work duties safely in accordance with BMS safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries. This can include sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. In addition, perform lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. on a frequent basis during work shifts.
• Changing routes and customer needs, requiring flexibility and understanding. Providing routing feedback to ensure efficiency.
• Drive to, and maneuver around, various construction, event and park sites.
• Depending on delivery and service type, empty the truck waste at the Iowa City Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Complete required route paperwork and submit to office at the end of the day.
• Demonstrate professional behavior, accountable work ethic, and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Maintain pumper truck. As needed refuel, add fresh water and restock service supplies.
• Be exposed to outdoor Iowa weather condition's year round.
• Be available for seasonal occasional weekend event servicing.
