Robert Half is currently seeking a Network/Systems Administrator II for a client located in Inglewood, CA. Network/Systems Administrator II will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining all network services across the company environment as well as implementing technical security controls at the direction of the CISO and mandated by regulatory compliance.

Position: Network Administrator II

Worksite Address: Inglewood, CA

Duration: 6 mo. CTH (client is diligently seeking someone that’s a great fit as they are wanting to convert this resource after the 5-6 month mark)

Must haves:

• SAN

• Switches (client has more than 50 switches on prem so need someone with strong experience in network maintenance tools) - Switch Maintenance

• Firewalls

• VPN

• WIFI

• Sonicwall

Job Responsibilities:

• 3-5+ years experience in Network Administration with implementing, and managing complex network architectures, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks, to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.

• Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators, in accordance with industry best practices and security standards.

• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors, such as SonicWall/Cisco

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Have an good/in depth understanding of routing and switching as well as system monitoring and auditing tools

• Familiarity with scripting and PowerShell.

• Communications skills (English, written and oral).

• Excellent customer service skills
