Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to configure RF power amplifiers, mechanical box assemblies of RF boards, and RF connectors. The role involves cable assembly on shielded cables, ribbon cables, and wire harnesses, as well as assembling printed circuit boards, modules, chassis, and cable harnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Configure RF power amplifier complex box build (2U, 3U, 5U) assemblies.

  • Experience with coaxial transformers, ferrites, and all RF-related passive components.

  • Assemble electrical harnesses and RF coaxial cables, electrical wiring, and soldering.

  • Perform cable assembly operations on shielded cables, ribbon cables, and wire harnesses.

  • Assemble printed circuit boards, modules, chassis, and cable harnesses.

  • Prepare and terminate ribbon cables, including stripping, tinning, and termination of wire harnesses.

  • Utilize soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools.

  • Interpret wire lists, block diagrams, and rough sketches.

  • Read and understand assembly drawings, parts lists (BOM), wiring diagrams, and wiring lists.

  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure accuracy in assembly work.

  • Utilize the Vantage MRP System and Configuration Control practices.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with RF board and mechanical box assembly.

  • Familiarity with RF connectors, coaxial transformers, ferrites, and RF-related passive components.

  • Proficiency in assembling printed circuit boards, modules, chassis, and cable harnesses.

  • Expertise in soldering and handling various tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and power tools.

  • Capability to interpret wire lists, block diagrams, and rough sketches.

  • Knowledge of assembly drawings, parts lists (BOM), wiring diagrams, and wiring lists.

  • Training in IPC-A-610/620 CIS certification or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with MRP entry and ECR process.

  • Understanding of part numbers, polarity designations, color codes, etc.

  • Reading E-Drawings is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $45760.00/yr.
