The Position

We are an agile DevOps team developing code and solutions that enable our business partners to consume and provision compliant cloud solutions. Therefore, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Developer with a background in building infrastructure on AWS and AZURE.

Tasks & responsibilities

• You will use state-of-the-art technologies, programming languages and frameworks to design and develop the features and services for our products.

• Based on defined user stories, you will develop high-quality code, including unit/integration tests and code documentation of suitable quality for the product increments in rapid iterations.

• By creating and applying automation tools and scripts for recurring tasks and test automation, you will ensure efficient and reliable maintenance of the system.

• In all your responsibilities, you will apply agile methodology and the Scrum framework while working closely with the product development team and the product owner. Of course, you will always focus on the customer needs.

• You will take over the responsibility for building solutions that integrates well into our overall system architecture.

• Moreover, you will influence the direction, productivity, and achievement of our objectives and give guidance to more junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science / engineering or comparable scientific degree, several years of professional experience in developing Cloud solutions, using state-of-the-art technologies like Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS Cloud Formation or AZURE Resource Templates

• Proven knowledge in software development testing and test automation (unit testing, regression testing, etc.)

• Experience in Version Control Systems (preferred GIT)

• Know-how in continuous development and deployment tools

• Knowledge in related aspect of IT security, operations and support

• Ability to strategize implementation and proactively develop innovative concepts and ideas

• Business fluent communication skills in English
