Post Doc: This Position is limited for 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you will ensure delivery of high-quality data, presentations and publications including required documentation.

  • Moreover, you will investigate influences on current Test-Methods and the evaluation of the modeling of use cases.

  • With your expertise, you will develop enhanced or new testing methods.

  • By using the internal network, you will contribute to the clarification and discussion of results and the promotion of research priorities.

  • In addition, you will develop and / or integrate test strategies for a more effective testing e.g. platform development, standardization, variant management.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, materials science, applied physics, medical engineering or equivalent

  • Good analytical, development, presentation and documentation skills

  • Broad Expertise of mechanical engineering, deep knowledge in test development and product development preferred

  • Experience with universal testing machines for Zwick / Roell preferred

  • Good Knowledge of mechanical testing and testing standards preferred

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
