The Position

Therefore, we are looking to extend our Indirect Global Sourcing team on the category that manages 1 of the 3 biggest investments in any brand: Media.

It´s a Sourcing team that works across functions and cultures to ensure the success of Boehringer when engaging with customers, consumers, and stakeholders.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • With your strategic prowess, persuasive skills, and assertive nature, you'll be set to craft and execute the Media category strategy. Your strategy will redefine the norms in terms of market speed, long-term strategic sourcing decisions, competitive sourcing & agency roster.

  • Always on the lookout for innovation, you'll keep a keen eye on markets, scout for new solutions, service providers for your category, evaluate risks, and pioneer new channels or solutions.

  • You'll be the driving force behind implementing innovative processes that lead to improve Agency & Media management, RoI (calculation and tracking) and budgeting.

  • Besides, you'll be on the hunt for new suppliers, evaluate current and potential ones, and foster strong relationships with existing and new business partners.

  • You'll also serve as the go-to person for assigned business partners for Sourcing, providing support on cross-category issues and sharing relevant information.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration

  • Experience on international category management at Media Sourcing, both Direct to Consumer and Professional- Media Agency experience is a plus

  • Experience in risk management and compliance (including due diligence, PV, Data Protection, ABAC, NTA) as well as know-how in RoI and budgeting- Knowledge on GCP is a plus

  • Analytical, extremely high communication and presentation skills, engagement & management of C-Level Business Partners

  • Open-minded, motivated, persuasive, and perseverant personality, able to take on extremely relevant responsibilities

  • English (Bilingual)
