About POINT Biopharma:

POINT Biopharma Global Inc. is a globally focused radiopharmaceutical company building a platform for the clinical development and commercialization of radioligands that fight cancer. Position Summary:

Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Manufacturing Operations, the Project Manager will partner with other team members to ensure the success of projects. The Project Manager will ensure program strategy is defined and translated into an integrated development plan as well as an operational plan that meets the companies objectives. This is a highly collaborative, cross functional role requiring command of critical path activities, assumptions, risks and mitigation strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Drive clarity around goals, milestones, assumptions, risks, timelines, budgets and other key program deliverables, while holding team members accountable for their deliverables.

  • Ensure clarity and strong communication across the core project team, extended team and various internal/external stakeholders.

  • Generate minutes to meetings as required, track and influence delivery of action items.

  • Support project team decision making and ensure clear documentation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Communicate impact and changes to project scope, project schedule(s), and project costs

  • Develops conceptual plans and timelines for facilities projects to support fiscal planning and manufacturing requirements.

  • Coordinates with multiple departments and Sr leadership to facilitate rational facility planning, budgeting, risks, quality impact, and scheduling.

  • Develops planning documents for initiation of projects (Project Charter) and develops initial timeline and risk/impact assessment.

  • Prepares requests for proposals and conducts all necessary meetings to facilitate hiring architectural and construction management services as applicable.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft project (create, manage, track, and reporting functionality), to deliver up to date project status.

  • Monitors and reports on all phases of planning and construction to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives and timelines.

  • Coordinates all parties involved in the planning, design, and construction process by assigning tasks and providing guidance for specific functions.

  • Develops and maintains facility project budgets.

  • Coordinates with Sr leadership and supplier quality to develop recommendations for selection of professional services.

  • Conducts pre-construction meetings, prepare Request for Proposal (RFP’s), reviews bids, and recommends award of contract.

  • Prepares construction contracts and monitors their execution and distribution.

  • Prepares contract change orders and monitors their execution.

  • Reviews contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements.

  • Create and submit forecast spend to finance organization with respect to pay requests from professional services and contractors and approves for payment.

  • Prepare project reports and controls expenditures in accordance with budget allocations.

  • Coordinates and communicates with the quality organization and manufacturing to ensure compliance while minimizing production disruptions.

  • Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing standards.

  • Ensures effective, timely written and oral communication with consultants and internal customers during all phases of design and construction.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline required

  • 6 years PM experience in one of the following areas: biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing support, or facility design required

  • Knowledge of PAI’s

Additional Preferences:

  • Flexible/entrepreneurial with a deep knowledge in project management and construction for the regulated industries.

  • Experience as a consultant preferred

  • Experienced working in a Life sciences organization or experience working in a regulated environment with quality oversight.

  • Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of estimating, budgeting, and scheduling practices.

  • Knowledge of current status of costs of new construction, escalation factors, and market trends.

  • Knowledge of building codes and standards of practice.

  • Knowledge of laws governing construction contracts and contracting.

  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods.

  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles and leadership capabilities

  • Highly organized and self-motivated with an analytical mindset and strong negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal/written skills
