Lilly Intelligence Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

This role will be based in Indianapolis and report directly to the Senior Director of Global Security – Anti-Counterfeiting Investigations. It is an on-site position that supports Global Security operations and acts as a primary resource for issues impacting the security of employees, facilities, assets, and product investigations. The successful candidate will have a global view, as well as experience interacting with a diverse workforce in an international setting. This role would require a blend of analytical skills, technological proficiency, and an understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape to effectively support the strategic intelligence efforts of Lilly’s Product Protection program.

The responsibilities require a high level of expertise in security, law enforcement intelligence and analysis, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across different functions within the organization.

  • Conduct thorough Counterfeiting and Product Protection threat assessments and identify vulnerabilities to inform policy and operational decisions.

  • Manage and coordinate newly reported product protection complaints and facilitate the flow of information to the relevant internal partners.

  • Prepare link charts and other analytical reports that offer recommendations and insights associated with Lilly’s product protection enforcement strategy.

  • Coordinate and support ongoing product protection cases and enforcement actions.

  • Monitor and analyze web-based technology to identify counterfeiting, theft, and diversion trends and create filtering programs to detect risks.

  • Build relationships through external engagement, participation in conferences, and training to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques.

  • Contribute in briefings and trainings on current and emerging anti-counterfeiting trends and mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate information sharing through engagement with various corporate partners in legal, quality, and other business units on matters related to counterfeit, stolen, and diverted products.

Required Qualification:

  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience as an Analyst within government agencies, private intelligence firms, or law enforcement organizations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security Studies, or Intelligence Analysis.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position.

Additional Preferences:

  • Specialized training in investigation techniques, security systems, or intelligence analysis.

  • Certifications related to intelligence, fraud examination, security, or law enforcement.

  • Proven track record in the intelligence industry, with experience in Federal, State, or Local law enforcement, the U.S. Military, or private intelligence sectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data related to security and counterfeiting issues.

  • Expertise in conducting investigations and collaborating with law enforcement to address counterfeit activities.

  • Strong legal competence with an understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to counterfeiting, theft, and diversion.

  • Technical proficiency in security systems and web-based technologies for monitoring and identifying threats.

  • Superb communication skills, with experience in briefing teams on security risks and countermeasures.

  • Strategic problem-solving abilities, with a focus on developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

  • Critical Thinking: The ability to analyze complex datasets to provide recommendations.

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting data to extract relevant insights and strategies to mitigate risk and improve anti-counterfeiting practices.

  • Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in reviewing intelligence data to ensure accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Problem Solving: Developing intelligence-based strategies to mitigate risks related to counterfeit, stolen, and diverted products and other complex security challenges.

  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with open source intelligence research platforms, web-based technology to monitor threats and other analytical software

Additional Information:

  • At times the candidate will be expected to work outside the normal daytime work hours.

  • Periodic domestic and international travel will be required (approximately 10%)
