Robert Half Financial Verification Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with an Indianapolis based healthcare company to add a Financial Verification Manager to their team. The ideal candidate is a leader for the team and able to have sometimes challenging conversations.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (can be flexible with start time)
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Team Leadership: Oversees a team of financial verification specialists, ensuring efficient operations and resolving escalated issues.
Direct Consumer Interaction: Handles direct consumer inquiries, including eligibility, pricing, payments, and complaints.
Regulatory Compliance: Advocates for patients, providers, and CHN, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and third-party regulations.
Process Improvement: Drives innovation in front-end processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase approval rates.
Strategic Planning: Collaborates with leadership on strategic planning and organizational structure within Patient Access.
Equity and Inclusion: Promotes a culture of equity and inclusion, continuously learning and improving practices related to racial equity and its impact on healthcare.
Performance Management: Measures and coaches team performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and auditing procedures.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of financial analysts or verifiers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and errors in financial data.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, data analysis tools).
