Robert Half Financial Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a service company on a Contract to Hire basis in the NW side of Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to utilize their financial skills and experience in a vibrant business setting. The right candidate will handle budgeting, managing financial reports, conducting feasibility studies, and implementing financial policies, amongst other responsibilities. This position offers the potential for some remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and develop financial models for decision support.

  • Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.

  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports to aid strategic planning.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to develop departmental budgets and consolidate them into the overall corporate budget.

  • Carry out business forecasting and risk analysis.

  • Develop financial reports to help compare actual results with forecasts.

  • Conduct market research to stay updated about financial practices and trends.

  • Advise on investment activities, considering risk and compliance control.

  • Help drive process improvements in the finance department.

  • Participate in cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.

    Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a financial analyst, financial consultant, or related role.

  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and financial principles.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.

  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Understanding and knowledge of regulatory standards (GAAP).
