Description: A Project Engineer job in Indianapolis, IN is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor"s Degree and zero to three years' of previous project engineering experience. In this job, you will provide technical execution and project leadership for a Product Cyber Security team to coordinate and manage a portfolio of internal and external capability development projects. You will be responsible for project schedule, planning, risk management, and coordination of all the technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and budget from conception to completion. Due to the nature of the work begin performed, US Citizenship is required.

Job Duties:

  • Support the development and progression of statements of work for current and upcoming projects.

  • Support and manage/lead key team projects.

  • Oversee internal stakeholder milestones and engagement activities.

  • Support account manager with establishing and executing purchase orders, track and manage execution of projects, create and manage online repository for content, documents, and artefacts.

  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems to ensure that customer Milestones are met.

  • Plan and manage new joiner activities.

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

  • Regular reporting on project progress: a track record in managing multiple, diverse, fast paced, and ambiguous projects with remote/international teams is imperative.

  • Write reports and correspondence. Present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

*Perform other such duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in a recognized engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.

  • Recommended minimum of zero to three years of project engineering experience, plus task supervision of multi-disciplined team of designers and engineers.

  • Experience implementing corporate policies and procedures related to task execution.

  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management is desired.

  • Ability to write technical reports and correspondence including customer reports.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

*SCRUM/Agile working experience.

*Product Cyber Security experience.

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $60,000 to $65,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
