Our client, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. Operating in the dynamic and fast-paced real estate industry, this role requires a skilled professional with a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $32 - $34 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.

• Measure, cut, bend, and install wires and conduits using appropriate tools.

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble defective electrical equipment.

• Perform laboring duties related to electrical system installation and maintenance.

What’s Needed?

• Technical Education or Certification: A high school diploma or GED is typically required, but a technical degree or certification in electrical work, such as an associate's degree in electrical technology or a vocational certificate in electrical installation or maintenance, is preferred.

• Hands-on Experience: Substantial hands-on experience, typically ranging from 8 to 10 years, is required to gain proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

• Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Equipment: A thorough understanding of electrical systems, equipment, tools, and their design, use, repair, and maintenance is essential for an electrician.

• Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Electricians must possess strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, as well as excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe installations and repairs.

• Physical Abilities: Electricians often work in confined spaces, at heights, or in physically demanding environments, requiring physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools for extended periods.
