Doxim Director of Quality Control in Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Summary:

As the Director of Quality Control and Assurance for Doxim, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control processes across the organization including multiple print and insertion facilities and multiple data processing platforms. The primary objective will be to ensure that all output (printed and electronic) meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with established guidelines and regulations. You will develop and implement quality control strategies, policies, and procedures to uphold excellence in product output while optimizing operational efficiency.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of quality control initiatives across all Doxim locations.

  • Spearhead improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with established quality and service levels throughout all phases of the processing and production process.

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality control processes, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management. (Metric focused/driven analysis and decision making)

  • Foster a culture of first-time product quality, productivity improvement, and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the quality control function, fostering innovation and implementing measures to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of materials and services supplied meets established standards and specifications.

  • Lead investigations and resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary across the business unit.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including professional services, data processing, operations, and customer service, to ensure alignment of quality control efforts with overall business objectives.

    Qualifications:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

  • Experience in and solid understanding of Six Sigma and Lean principles.

  • Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving & communication skills.

  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills and is customer-focused and enthusiastic.

  • Strong customer orientation, a sense of urgency, and a growth mindset.

  • Is a team player who has proven mentoring and coaching abilities, and has demonstrated the ability to motivate, inspire others, and drive change within the organization to meet team goals/objectives
