We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing top-notch customer service and handling high-volume calls in a fast-paced setting. The job function is primarily within the call center industry, requiring the use of basic office skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer inquiries and membership renewals in a professional manner

• Undertaking data entry tasks, including recording customer interactions

• Managing and monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions

• Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Ensuring customer credit records are accurate and up to date

• Handling high call volumes during peak times, which can reach up to 150 calls per day

• Managing customer service-related tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Utilizing strong customer service skills to provide satisfactory responses to veterans' questions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in customer service and ability to handle customer queries effectively

• Demonstrable experience in a call center environment

• Familiarity with basic office skills including filing, scheduling, and answering phones

• Proficient in using MS Word and MS Excel for creating reports and data analysis

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Experience with numeric data entry, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly

• Ability to work in a team and contribute to achieving team goals

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
