ManpowerGroup Controls Engineer III in Indianapolis, Indiana

Our Client, headquartered in Indianapolis, is a global leader in power solutions, specializing in engines, filtration, and power generation technologies. With a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.

They are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for a Temporal Contract to develop, program, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, ensuring seamless connectivity between machines and driving digital transformation initiatives.

Controls Engineer III

On-site, Indianapolis: Temporal Contract

Regular schedule, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

Payment: $44,65

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate industrial automation and control systems, including PLC programming and IIoT platform integration.

  • Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Ethernet/IP.

  • Implement and support networking solutions, including VLANs, IP configuration, and network security for IIoT systems.

  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for connectivity and automation issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in industrial automation, IIoT systems, and PLC programming.

  • Proficiency in industrial networking, communication protocols, and data governance principles.

  • Experience managing IIoT projects and driving digital transformation initiatives.
