Construction Site Manager - Indianapolis, IN
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Site Manager to join our team in Indianapolis, IN! This role will involve overseeing client projects across multiple local campuses to ensure effective completion of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Management and be able to manage Subcontractors, build and update Schedules, and ensure Project Quality and Safety. These projects will be near the downtown area and will focus on Commercial Renovation in Pharmaceutical Construction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a couple years of experience to grow with a stable local team.
This position is open because the team needs someone with Site Management experience who is also proficient in managing and updating Schedules via Microsoft Project. This team has promoted consistently from within, and specifically hired multiple Superintendents into Site Management roles without previous Microsoft Projects experience. They have also promoted other employees from this role, or similar positions, into new client and account opportunities. This team has a stable book of business with a client they’ve supported for over 10+ years.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure project completion on time and in budget.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and self-performing carpenters.
Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and Procore.
Provide 3- to 6-week look-ahead schedules and update the Project Manager on progress.
Conduct regular quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Coordinate logistics and delivery of materials to ensure timely availability.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Communicate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company policies.
Job Requirements:
3+ years of experience managing subcontractors as a Site Superintendent, Construction Manager, or Project Engineer
Will consider 2+ years of experience for candidates with a relevant Bachelor’s degree
Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals
Experience managing annual budget over $15million, with individual projects around $5-6million
Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities, including logistics and deliveries onsite
Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards
Proficiency in MS Project or similar Scheduling Software
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to pass extensive background check
Preferred but not Required – Procore Experience; MEP Experience; and/or Active OSHA 30
Miscellaneous:
This person can expect to work 10-hour days, and either 4 or 5 days per week, depending on needs.
This person will sit onsite with the client in or near downtown Indianapolis.
Target compensation is $80,000-95,000/year on a salary basis with a potential year-end bonus.
Client sets metrics each quarter and will offer $25-150 of Visa Cash Gift Cards for hitting them.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $114000.00/hr.
