Doxim Console Operator -3rd shift in Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Summary: Primarily responsible for fulfilling all duties of an Operator in the Computer Room with the flexibility to cover different shifts when needed. Also assist in SQL Databases and Automated Systems. Performs on-call coverage during evenings, weekends and holidays depending on shift.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Regular attendance is an essential function of this job
Schedules processing and prints production floor documentation
Supports SQL server by troubleshooting and analyzing performance issues should they arise
Monitors the APS Automated System to ensure production jobs are executing correctly. Must perform basic troubleshooting to correct issues
Configures, maintains and troubleshoots production floor equipment including printers and scanners
Performs system backup functions and communicates system backups to IT management team
Completes request for basic production reports and/or queries
Works with third party vendors to support production software
Completing all training required by the company
All other duties as assigned
Essential skills and experience:
Ability to read, write and interpret the English language (customer data, instructions, manuals and procedures)
Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide
At least 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows operating system
At least 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with database systems such as SQL
At least 2 years’ experience with PC maintenance and repair
Basic knowledge of mainframe technology
Willing to work a flexible shift
Ability to understand and interpret instructions, oral and/or written
Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly as well as manually move paper stock weighing up to 800 lbs. (move by twisting, pushing, pulling)
Ability to stand on feet for most of the shift
Ability to pass in-house certification training for the operation of the equipment annually.
Education and experience:
High School Diploma or GED; or at least 2 years’ experience in an IT support function
Bachelors, Associates or Technical Degree in IT, IS or CS a plus
Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco or Comp TIA a plus
Experience with SQL databases and queries a plus
Knowledge of network topologies a plus
Basic programming such as C, Visual Basic, HTML, ASP, a plus
Experience operating production printers such as a RICHO and Xerox a plus

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use both hands and fingers to handle loading, unloading and operating of the equipment. The employee is occasionally required to use both feet to work machine based foot pedals and operating of the equipment, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision (ability to read small print), peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
