Description
The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare company in the Indianapolis area to find a new Clinic Manager for their office. This person must be able to handle all types of personalities and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (one late night a week)
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Operational Leadership & Staff Management: Oversee daily office operations, delegate tasks, manage staff scheduling, and assist with personnel matters including performance reviews.
Patient & Provider Coordination: Optimize physician and advanced practice provider schedules for efficient patient flow, ensure excellent patient service, and manage patient communications and concerns.
Policy & Procedure Implementation: Implement and communicate clinic policies and procedures, develop work prioritization guidelines, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Administrative & Financial Oversight: Manage office payroll, PTO requests, and office/clinical supplies, while maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
Recruitment & Training Support: Collaborate with HR to assist in recruitment, hiring, training, and development of staff, contributing to a strong and capable team.
Requirements
Demonstrate ability to lead and manage daily operations within a healthcare facility, with hospital experience strongly preferred.
Ability to provide supervisory oversight on clinic operations
Strong supervisory management skills to lead and guide a diverse team
Comprehensive knowledge of medical practice and its nuances
Proven ability to educate, train, and evaluate staff performance, addressing areas for improvement and fostering professional development.
Demonstrable skills in managing clinic operations, from patient care to record-keeping
Experience managing diverse personalities and navigating challenging employee relations situations, particularly with physician staff.
Previous experience working within a psychiatric setting is highly desirable.
Degree Requirements: CMA, QMA, HHA, CNA OR 24 of the last 36 in healthcare, they can help with a certification (ABROE)
Software: Greenway (EHR) Must know Excel intermediate level
