Responsibilities

As a Buyer at Ascension, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services for our Health Ministries. Buyers provide exceptional customer service to associates and others in the organization, responding to inquiries and requests and resolving issues accordingly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Performs buys in accordance with internal control standards and procurement policies, procedures, and processes.

• Initiates ordering and supplier management for requested inventory.

• Identifies opportunities to request necessary data improvements.

• Provides level two customer service support for health ministry associates, responding to inquiries and

• requests, and resolving issues or errors. Escalates issues that cannot be resolved.

Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
