What You'll Contribute

As an Audio-Visual Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in creating seamless audio and visual experiences for various events, presentations, and productions. Your expertise will ensure that audiences enjoy high-quality sound, visuals, and technical support. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

What You'll Do

  • Meeting Coordination : You’ll collaborate with administrators or event coordinators to understand the audio and video requirements for various events.

  • Quality Checks : Before events, you’ll conduct sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment to ensure everything works flawlessly.

  • Dry Runs : Prior to large-scale meetings, you’ll perform dry runs to ensure all equipment operates smoothly.

  • Live Event Operation : During live events, you’ll operate sound and visual equipment, making sure everything runs without a hitch.

  • Troubleshooting : If technical issues arise, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve them promptly.

  • Customer Relations : Maintaining strong customer relations is essential.

  • Inventory Management : You’ll keep accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Training : Providing “lunch and learn” sessions to demonstrate and teach users how to use new AV equipment.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

  • Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Audio-Visual equipment with a focus on Microsoft Teams Room solutions.

  • Able to troubleshoot Microsoft Teams issues impacting meetings and Live Events.

  • Excellent computer and network troubleshooting skills.

  • Personal Attributes:

  • Creativity, attention to detail, and flexibility.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Able to travel to remote office locations on short notice.
