Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

As an Administrative Assistant, your role is pivotal to the smooth operation of our northwest Indianapolis client. You will provide high-level administrative and clerical support, coordinating and managing daily office activities. We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual with excellent organizational skills to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering and routing phone calls, taking messages, and managing email correspondence.

  • Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings and events.

  • Preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations.

  • Maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems.

  • Performing data entry tasks and maintaining databases.

  • Liaising between various departments ensuring smooth and effective communication.

  • Managing office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed.

  • Assisting other staff members with administrative tasks as required.

Key Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other administrative software.

  • Excellent phone etiquette.

  • Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask and prioritize work.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

  • Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is highly desirable.
