Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role will be vital in our team, focusing on account reconciliation, accounts payable, data entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing and auditing of accounts payable transactions

• Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to confirm the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies

• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze data and create financial reports

• Manage data entry tasks to ensure all financial data is recorded promptly and accurately

• Respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable information and resolve any issues that arise

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate action as needed

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Experience in a similar role is preferable but not mandatory

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles

• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
