Hyatt Food Runner - Specialty Restaurant (On-Call) in INDIAN WELLS, California

Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Food Runner at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt has completed a property-wide renovation and up branding from Regency to Grand. Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues.

The Food Runner will work multiple Food and Beverage outlets and is responsible for assisting Restaurant Servers in delivering of food and beverage items from the cooking station to the hotel guests while attending to other guest-requests. Other responsibilities may be assigned by managers.

The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.50 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications:

  • Riverside County Food Handler's license

  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions.

  • Good physical strength and stamina to lift, push, pull moderate weight and walk long distances as well as stand most of shift

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • A desire to exceed guest expectations
