Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Indian Trail, North Carolina. This role involves providing oversight to the financial operations within our organization, particularly within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting software systems, ensuring compliance with financial services regulations, and overseeing the completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department

• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

• Implement and maintain accounting software systems to streamline processes

• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

• Implement systems to avoid legal issues and ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

• Monitor and control accounts receivables and payables

• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in alignment with policies and investment guidelines

• Oversee the operations of the treasury department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives

• Manage the percentage of completion method accounting within the construction industry

• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA procedures and guidelines

• Skilled in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong auditing skills

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Understanding of percentage (%) of completion method in accounting

• Experience in the Construction industry

• Knowledge of Construction Accounting is a plus

• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
