Description We are seeking a skilled Application Development Project Manager/Lead for our team based in Independence, Ohio, United States. This role will involve overseeing the entire application development lifecycle, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team of developers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing the strategic direction for the application development team, focusing on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability

• Plan, execute, and deliver application development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in application architecture and design, specifically within the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environments

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Microsoft platforms and evaluate their potential impact

• Establish and enforce governance policies and best practices for Power Platform Canvas and Model-Driven application development

• Develop and implement standards for application development, including coding standards, naming conventions, and documentation requirements

• Oversee the development and execution of testing plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications

• Manage the application development budget and resource needs, including hiring, training, and development of staff specialized in Microsoft technologies

• Coordinate with other IS practices, such as Enterprise Applications and Business Analytics, to ensure seamless integration across platforms

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Application Development Project Manager/Lead.

• Proficiency in D365, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure DevOps.

• Demonstrable experience in managing and leading application development project teams.

• Strong ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives.

• Proven track record in project management and coordination, with a focus on agile methodologies.

• Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders and team members in a clear and understandable manner.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and forward-thinking mindset.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
