PRIMARY PURPOSE

Develop, implement and manage marketing strategies and functions that drive growth of the business in India and ensure sales growth and profitability targets are achieved. In addition to shape and execute the professional education strategy in India markets that will help improve the quality of surgical care in the region and help differentiate Integra as a partner in building skills and knowledge of surgeons in the region

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Revenue Objectives

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics that align with our overall international strategy and drive towards meeting the region’s revenue and profitability goals.

  • Develop and execute specific strategies for Integra’s key products and therapies – increase adoption, build market share and to grow revenue in the region

  • Plan and implement New Product Introductions (NPIs) and achieve product goals and objectives

Product & Marketing Management

  • Analyze sales performance, brand awareness, market trends and sales team insights to identify business opportunities and threats within the India markets.

  • In response, prioritise, develop and deploy comprehensive sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with global franchise teams and country sales and marketing leaders

  • Within these sales and marketing strategies, integrate and utilise professional education, KOL engagement, print and media advertising, third party conference participation, promotional events, sales action plans and other marketing communication techniques and channels to support business growth.

  • Co-ordinate the introduction of new products (or changes) in the local market. Work with others to establish regulatory clearance, inventory profiles, pricing and contract strategies, sales targets and objectives, launch plans and promotional activities.

  • Establish and maintain communication channels with global marketing teams.

  • Establish, maintain and operate within an approved marketing budget.

Marketing Operations

  • Ensure processes and systems for customer relationship management, sales reporting, territory allocations, customer pricing communication, contract management, consignment management and loan trials are established and effective.

  • Establish the priorities and direction of local marketing operation projects and ensure alignment with commercial priorities.

  • Support VP of the region with general sales analysis and reporting functions.

Organisational Learning & Professional Development

  • Co-ordinate the delivery of local product related training for new staff and co-ordinate the delivery of basic sales training for new sales staff and global training departments.

  • Support commercial leaders to develop and enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.

Establish and Execute Professional Education Strategy

  • Establish and implement an annual professional education program, aligned with sales and marketing priorities, that will enhance our customer’s awareness and understanding of our products and support their adoption.

  • Provide professional education to healthcare professionals across different clinical disciplines and specialties including (but not limited to) neurosurgeons, plastic reconstructive surgeons, general surgeons, vascular surgeons, nurses, nurse practitioners, podiatrists.

  • Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders to participate in Professional Education, Market Research and Advisory Panels.

  • Utilise a variety of formats to meet the education and training objectives including forums, workshops, cadaver labs, sponsored symposia, speaking tours, webinars, and training videos.

  • Incorporate adult learning principals into education and training activities and gather feedback as a means of continuous improvement.

  • Develop and manage the annual professional education budget.

  • Ensure events are compliant with local regulations and internal global compliance policies.

  • Assist the establishment of HCP contracts when professional education consulting agreement are required.

Sales Support: Team Induction and Training

  • In collaboration with the Regional Sales Managers and the Marketing Manager, develop a training and induction plan for new sales staff.

  • Identify gaps in resources and develop or localise resources as required to meet local training and induction needs.

  • Deliver or facilitate product and clinical training for new sales staff and assess competence.

  • Work with market commercial leaders, co-travel with new sales staff to provide in-field clinical and product support as part of their induction.

  • Contribute to new product launches and line extensions by designing and facilitating local education and training.

POSITION COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Applied Science, Allied Health, Medicine or Nursing.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in medical device or medical technology industry with evidence of strong business acumen.

  • Experience and demonstrated ability to deliver complex clinical education and training to healthcare practitioners.

  • Well-developed communication, consultation, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, customers, key opinion leaders and other stakeholders.

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook.

  • High level time management and organisational skills, including management of multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Based in India and willing/able to travel on a regular basis (40-50% of time).

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience managing or coordinating projects reliant on collaboration from various stakeholders.

  • Clinical experience in Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and/or Vascular Surgery.

  • Experience delivering education and training in Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and/or Vascular Surgery.
