Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a SPED Teacher M/M to work at a facility in Imperial Beach, CA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $60 - $65 / hour

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Day Class (SDC) Mild/Moderate teacher to join our team in California. As an SDC M/M teacher, you will work with students who have mild to moderate disabilities in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of students
Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and parents to support student growth and success
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning and academic achievement
Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional strategies to support student learning and development
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to ensure student success
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
California teaching credential in Special Education with a Mild/Moderate Disabilities authorization
Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a special education setting
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting the needs of students with disabilities
