PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Health & Wellness Champion will help the team adopt behaviors that contribute to a higher quality of life while supporting the operational components of the organization. The Champion isan integral part of developing and facilitating Teleperformance’s commitment to a culture of wellness.
A Wellness Champion partners with individuals or groupsseekingself-directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness and, thereby, enhance well-being. A Champion may develop and implement wellness seminars for staff, teach various components of wellness through individualconnects,facilitateskills-based groups, and other resiliency programing as needed. They will assess the needs of individual staff members or teams andassistthem in managing crisis/ emergency situations, choosing behaviors that encourage personal wellness. The Wellness Champion will promote the use of resiliency skills, social support and connection, and increased resiliency within the workplace.
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
Facilitate meetings (in person, virtually, or via video) to discuss themes, activities, goals, progress, and challenges
Work with individuals and groups offering a client centered process tofacilitateand empower individuals to develop and achieve self-determined goals related to health and wellness
Identifyissues that may interfere with the team or individual’s vision,goalsand progress
Facilitate skills groups to teach wellness, safety, healthy copingskillsand resiliency to employees
Implement outreach initiatives to promote positive mental and physical health / wellbeing.
Participate and help lead special employee projects such as recognition, celebrations, and employee appreciation activities which help promote wellbeing and drive a positive morale / culture
Provide guidance in stress reduction and physical wellness by recommending activities such as mindfulness, yoga and meditation, art, and music therapy.
Lead or co-lead projects or activities assigned by the leadership team.
Attend activities and complete development programs and training sessions required by the department or company.
Qualifications
Flexible to work any 8-hour shift
Previousexperience in an employee wellness or health promotion role preferred
Strong knowledgeand understandingof health and wellness benefits and principles
Professional certifications in wellness, health promotion, or related fields preferred
Strong project management and problem-solving skills
Team player with the ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to meet multiple demanding deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and client management skills, presentation abilities and stakeholder management
Ability to portray and lead by example with health and wellness topics, goals, and activities
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability tointerfacewith multiple levels of management
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
