This role will sit within the Taste manufacturing team and will be responsible for active contribution to grow the business and profitability of Japan Taste through production of Flavors in accordance with safety, quality and procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the production of food flavourings in accordance with safety and quality policies/procedures.

• Safely operates and monitors production equipment required for production.

• Records required material usage, product yields, and manufacturing operations in the SAP (company's system) and work area in the prescribed work logs and systems.

• Samples are collected and submitted to quality control for in-process analysis and pre-shipment inspection.

• Report any problems with raw materials or equipment to the production leader.

• Operates electric forklift or handlist to move raw materials, containers, and products to designated areas as needed before and after production.

• Maintains a tidy and organized work environment.

• Label and otherwise mark raw materials and finished products during production and in accordance with established procedures for identification purposes.

• Cooperates with the manufacturing team and other related departments to handle any changes in procedures and methods for new projects.

• Actively participate the monthly Kaizen meeting to improve the process and procedure.

  You bring

• Driver’s and forklift license

• At least 5 years’ manufacturing experience in flavors, food, food ingredients or related industries

• Japanese fluent & willingness to learn English

• Knowledge and/or high interest in food ingredients manufacturing

• Good communication skills
